ETHS Weekly Update

September 2025 - Welcome Back!

We are excited for the upcoming 2025-26 school year!

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025. We will begin the day in Resource. We're so excited to start a new school year with you. The teachers have been back for the past two weeks preparing for your arrival! We've focused on the outstanding assessment results from last year (ACT, PreACT, and AP), reviewed data to identify areas of focus for this year, and prepared clubs and activities to begin (or to continue) as school starts! Whether you're a freshman just starting your high school journey or a senior preparing for the next chapter, this is your year to explore new interests, challenge yourself academically, and get involved in our incredible community.

Let's make this a year filled with learning, fun, and being involved! We're all in this together, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish. Welcome back, everyone! Go Trojans!

First Day of School is Sept 2

Freshman/New Teacher Orientation

We had a great turnout at Freshman Orientation on Tuesday this week. If you couldn't make it, not a problem, we will review the information with you this week. Thank you to the National Honor Students for supporting the incoming students by leading activities and providing a warm welcome. We played games, walked through a daily schedule, and ended with an ice cream sundae and a t-shirt giveaway. We welcome you to ETHS! Go Trojans!

ETHS Pathways

ETHS is excited to announce the creation of academic pathways to support students who are interested in a specific career pathway.

When a student elects to be in a pathway, they will meet once per trimester as a group to:

Explore their career interest
Ensure their course/post-secondary planning aligns with their goals (scheduling)
Provide community/job shadowing experiences
Potential Youth Apprenticeship or extracurricular opportunities
Coursework, Credentials, and Credits that support post-secondary goals

We'd like to make the connection between the students who are interested in these programs and the program advisor at school.

A.C.E. - Michael Hoff (Construction) and Ryan Manske (STEM)
Business - Michael Zolecki
Health Sciences - Amanda McLernon
Information Technology - Nolan Pawelski
