Moment of Silence to Honor

Yesterday, we announced the following message during Resource to the student body:

On September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks led to the tragic loss of thousands of lives. Today serves as a reminder of a defining national tragedy that changed the world, inspiring lessons on heroism, compassion, and resilience through courage and unity. While the event itself was a source of grief and fear, it ultimately demonstrated the strength and compassion of the American spirit, as well as the profound importance of helping one another and striving for a better future. In honor of today, our school flag will fly at half-staff, and we have a display in the library.

Studying Our Constitution

In preparation for Constituation Day next, Mr. Brown's and Mr. Schleusner's Civics classes have been learning about the foundations of our government of the United States. Currently, they have been learning the specific components of the Constitution. This week, School Resource Officer Hackett came into classes to speak to students about the 4th Amendment. Officer Hackett explained the 4th Amendment and how it pertains to his job as well as what it looks like in a school setting. Students received good insight from Officer Hackett and how his profession interacts with the Amendments. Thank you, Officer Hackett!

The 9/19 football game has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 18th due to a referee shortage. Come out on Thursday and support the football team. The band will not be playing that night due to the unplanned change in schedule. Go Trojans!

Tennis hosts Patriot Day Match

Our girls tennis program will once again held their annual 9-11 Patriot Day match honoring the 343 firefighters who lost their lives that day. Thank you to the East Troy Fire Department and the Loomis/Martin American Legion Post for presenting the colors for the National Anthem. The team, under Coach Dave Lindow, donated $343.00 to the East Troy fire department that day.
