East Troy High School empowers students to own their futures through a robust College & Career Programming initiative that blends academic excellence with real-world readiness. We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to explore their interests, challenge themselves academically, and graduate with a clear plan for success beyond high school.

Together, these programs provide a personalized and powerful framework that supports every student’s college and career goals. Whether students aspire to a four-year university, trade certification, or the workforce, East Troy High ensures they are prepared, confident, and future-ready.

Our programs include: 

  • Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID)

    AVID equips students, especially those underrepresented in higher education, with the organizational, critical thinking, and leadership skills needed for college and lifelong success.

  • Career & Technical Education (CTE)

    Through hands-on, skills-based learning in areas like healthcare, business, technology, and trades, CTE prepares students for both college and immediate career entry. Many pathways offer certifications and real industry experience.

  • Dual Credit

    Students can earn college credit while still in high school through partnerships with local colleges, giving them a head start on their postsecondary education, and saving time and money along the way.

  • Laude Recognition

    Designed to recognize academic rigor and student achievement, this tiered honors system encourages students to pursue challenging coursework while maintaining high academic standards.

  • Registered Apprenticeship

    East Troy High School offers students the chance to earn while they learn through Registered Apprenticeship programs. These programs combine paid, hands-on job training with classroom instruction, leading to industry-recognized credentials.
